A full-immersion in inbound marketing, the stuff we’re working on (it’s pretty amazing), and how technology is transforming life.

On a quarterly basis, VA offers 3-month, college or post-graduate internships for students who want to expand their knowledge of inbound marketing and gain experience working with the leading-edge of technology. As long as you bring the passion and curiosity, we'll bring the hands-on opportunities.

Our goal is for the intern to learn and advance within the company.We don't just want students to go back to school with stronger resumés, we want you to take new perspectives, skills, and connections with you.

Internship Details

Duration: 3-month internship. (Start and end dates are flexible.)

Able to work 10 -15 hours per week (Virtual)

Some positions paid based upon experience level.

Duties/Responsibilities: Create online graphics including social media shareable content, whitepaper layouts, and more; write original agency blog content; assist with editing and publishing blog content; schedule and post social media content across multiple channels; data research of targeted topics.

Performance Evaluations: Clearly defined performance metrics are evaluated during end-of-internship performance review.

Takeaways: 9-12 portfolio pieces, end-of-internship letter of recommendation.

Job Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one or more: marketing, journalism, advertising, communications.

Working knowledge of public relations, online/inbound marketing and communications principles and practices.

Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical concepts.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Graphic design skills in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator

Application Deadlines

Fall (Sept.-Nov.): Applications accepted until July 15.

Winter (Dec.-Feb.): Applications accepted until Oct. 15.

Spring (March-May): Applications accepted until Jan. 15.

Summer (June-Aug.): Applications accepted until April 15.
